Get In The Game is a project initiated by Northwest Vision and Media in partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, and produced by Pixel-Lab.
The launch event will be at FACT, on Tuesday the 1st of September. Book places here to come along, meet the organisations behind the project, and find out more about the application process, which is open to companies from the North West, North East, and Yorkshire and Humber regions.
Now in it’s second year, Get In The Game is designed to encourage companies from the digital content and games sectors to collaborate and improve their pitching talents. Beginning with a pitch to the Get In The Game producers (Sony X-Dev Studio Europe, Northwest Vision & Media, and Pixel-Lab), five companies are chosen to receive a £10,000 3-month development commission. Throughout the three months, the companies develop their game design, produce video run-throughs and/or playable demos, and pitch all this to Sony with a full-production deal for Playstation Network (PSN) in mind.
